Judo Queensland subscribes to the JFA National Insurance Scheme that has been negotiated and arranged through the Judo Federation of Australia on behalf of the member States. The plan consists of 2 sections: Sports Group Personal Accident and Liability for Amateur Sports policy including Public Liability cover, Professional Indemnity and Management Liability Insurance. The plan extends to provide coverage to the following financial members: All players, accredited coaches, trainers, managers, administrators, voluntary workers, referees, medical officers, physiotherapists and all directors, officers, office bearers, members and committees of the Insured.

All participants must be registered and financial with Judo Queensland (JFAQ) in order to obtain coverage under the JFA National Insurance Scheme.
